Miami Football Leads in NCAA Graduates

Coral Gables, Fla. (www. hurricanesports.com) – – The 2005 Miami Hurricanes football roster includes 11 players who have already received their undergraduate degrees, the highest total in the NCAA this year.
1. Miami 11
2. Auburn 9
2. Boston College 9
4. Louisiana State 8
4. Virginia Tech 8
Miami’s graduates are: OT Rashad Butler, DE Thomas Carroll, WR Tanard Davis, PK Mark Gent, FB Quadtrine Hill, CB Kelly Jennings, CB Marcus Maxey, LB Rocky McIntosh, TE Buck Ortega, G Tony Tella and OT Eric Winston.
In addition, 10 more Hurricanes are on schedule to graduate in December: DT Baraka Atkins, DT Orien Harris, WR Ryan Moore, WR Sinorice Moss, DE Javon Nanton, PK Jon Peattie, C Alex Pou, S Greg Threat, LB Leon Williams and C Anthony Wollschlager.
