CAREER: Prototype right tackle who became a full-time starter in 2004…Versatile player has started games at both right tackle and left tackle during his UM career…Started four games at right tackle in 2003 when injuries forced out starters, then started eight games at left tackle in 2004 for injured Eric Winston…Has the size, frame, intelligence and athletic ability to develop into a top college lineman…Has tremendous upside potential to be a dominating blocker…Graduated in May 2005 with a degree in sociology and is pursuing a second degree in sports administration.

 

2004 (JUNIOR): Started the final eight games at left tackle, guarding Brock Berlin’s blindside…Missed the first three games of the season with an ankle injury suffered in an August practice…Took over at Georgia Tech in the fourth game of the year when All-America candidate Eric Winston was injured and started the remainder of the year…Allowed only 1.3 sacks all season (includes a sack shared by three linemen).

2003 (SOPHOMORE): Played in 10 games at right tackle, with starts against Florida, East Carolina, Boston College and Syracuse…saw action in games against Louisiana Tech, Temple, Virginia Tech, Rutgers and Pittsburgh…turned in a season-best per-formancewith two pancake blocks, leading the Hurricanes to 454total yards in a come from behind win against Florida in his first col -legiate start…recorded a pancake block against East Carolina…had one metrorail against Louisiana Tech, leading Miami to 467 total yards.

 

2002 (FRESHMAN): Played in eight games as a reserve tackle… saw action against Florida A&M, Florida, Boston College, Connecticut, Florida State, Rutgers, Tennessee and Syracuse.

 

2001 (REDSHIRT): Sat out the 2001 season with a redshirt.
