The No. 15 Miami Hurricanes look for a series win against the Duke University Blue Devils on Friday, May 20, inside Alex Rodriguez Park at 7 p.m. The game will serve as Senior Appreciation Day for seniors Michael Rudman and Chris Pelaez.
Miami (33-19, 18-9 Atlantic Coast Conference) is going for the sixth weekend series victory at home this year on Friday, while head coach Jim Morris will send sophomore right-hander Eric Whaley (7-4, 2.76 ERA) to the mound against Duke senior right-hander Dennis O’Grady (5-3, 4.00 ERA). The Hurricanes took Friday’s series-opener by a count of 4-1 as Zeke DeVoss finished 2-for-2 with two runs scored.
