Finished his rookie campaign sporting a 5-1 record and an ERA of 4.28… Had 29 appearances on the hill, drawing four starts on the year – three of them his last three games of the year in the Atlantic Coast Conference Championships and NCAA Coral Gables Regional… Went 48.1 innings on the hill, striking out a team sixth-best 51 batters and walking just 17… Had his first collegiate start against St. Thomas (Apr. 27) where he collected the win as UM defeated St. Thomas, 9-6… Grabbed his first career win in relief action against Rutgers (Feb. 20), going two innings, allowing two earned runs, one hit and striking out three… Collected no-decision outings in his final three starts of the year… Tossed a season-high five innings versus Florida State (May 26) in a UM win over the Seminoles as part of the ACC Championships (Greensboro, N.C.)… Fanned a season-high seven batters in four innings of relief action in a `Canes win over top-ranked Virginia (May 20)… Allowed just two hits and walked one with no runs scored against the Cavaliers… Went four scoreless innings on the hill against Dartmouth (June 4) in the NCAA Coral Gables Regional, striking out four batters and spreading out just two hits against…
