Winston-Salem, N.C. – The University of Miami looks for a sweep of Wake Forest on Sunday afternoon, taking on the Demon Deacons in the three-game series finale at 1 p.m., inside Wake Forest Baseball Park in Winston-Salem, N.C. The game will be broadcast on 90.5 FM in the Miami area, or anywhere via WVUM.org, already in progress immediately following the conclusion of the UM women’s basketball game versus Gardner-Webb in the opening round of the NCAA Tournament.

The Hurricanes used a pair of RBI hits from Nathan Melendres and Harold Martinez to complete a 4-3 come-from-behind series-clinching victory in the ninth inning on Saturday night. Relief pitcher Adam Sargent earned his first win of the year, while closer Daniel Miranda staked his team-leading fourth save. Melendres finished as the leading batter for the Hurricanes, going 3-of-4 at the dish – including the game-tying RBI, and the eventual game-winning run.
