No. 5 Miami and No. 20 Clemson Washed Out Friday Night

CLEMSON, S.C. – Game one of a three-game series between No. 5 Miami and No. 20 Clemson, scheduled for Friday night at 6:30 p.m. at Doug Kingsmore Stadium, has been postponed due to inclement weather in the area.

The game has been re-scheduled for Saturday afternoon at 3:30 p.m., with game two of the series set to follow approximately 45 minutes after the conclusion of the first game.

Left-hander Chris Hernandez (3-2, 5.80 ERA) will start the first game on Saturday, while right-hander David Gutierrez (2-3, 2.48) will take the mound in the night-cap. Clemson will counter with left-handers Casey Harman (3-2, 3.82 ERA) in game one and Chris Dwyer (3-2, 5.21 ERA) in the second game.

Both games on Saturday will remain nine-inning contests.

The third game of the series is still slated for 12 p.m. on Sunday. That game will be carried live by CSS.
