Canes to Host Chippewas in 2019
CORAL GABLES, Fla. — The University of Miami football program announced Monday that it will host Central Michigan University in a nonconference game at Hard Rock Stadium on September 21, 2019.
The matchup marks the first-ever contest between the two schools. Miami is 5-0 all-time versus schools from the Mid-American Conference.
Miami will open the 2019 season against the University of Florida in Orlando. Additional nonconference games for the 2019 season will be announced at a later date.
The Hurricanes also have future out-of-conference games scheduled with LSU in Arlington, Texas (2018), Michigan State (2020 and 2021) and Texas A&M (2022 and 2023).
Miami opens camp for the 2017 season on Tuesday, Aug. 1.
