Miami was awarded the No. 5 national seed last season, and after successfully capturing a Coral Gables Super Regional victory over VCU, made its 24th trip to the College World Series.
The Hurricanes, who won the 2016 ACC Regular Season Championship, have hosted an NCAA Regional for three straight seasons and four of the past five years.
The Coral Gables Regional field, as well as the entire field of 64, will be announced Monday at 12 p.m. on ESPNU’s Division I Baseball Selection Show “The Road to Omaha.”
