Fraser "Celebration of Life" Set For Feb. 23

CORAL GABLES, Fla. — “A Celebration of the Life ofRon Fraser” will be held Sat., Feb. 23 at the Knight Sports Complex on theUniversity of Miami campus.

The commemoration, honoring the30-year baseball coach (1963-92) who passed away on January 20, is slatedfrom 4 p.m. to 6 p.m., and will include a numberof notable guest speakers to be revealed on HurricaneSports.comas they are confirmed.

The Fraser family will be inattendance and will receive friends following the program, which is free and open to the public. Afterwards, thecelebration will move to Alex Rodriguez Park at Mark Light Field for Miami’s 7 p.m. game against Milwaukee.

The game, scheduled for live radio broadcast on 560 WQAM and WVUM 90.5 FM,has been designated as the “Remembering Ron Fraser” game. All ticket sale proceeds will be donated to the Ron FraserWizard Fund.
