Hurricanes Selected to Host NCAA Regional June 1-3

CORAL GABLES, Fla. – For the 24th time in school history, the University of Miami has been selected to host one of 16 regional sites for the NCAA Division I Baseball Championships. Miami (36-21) will be making its NCAA-record 40th consecutive regional appearance this week when play at the Coral Gables Regional begins Friday, June 1 at Alex Rodriguez Park at Mark Light Field.

Five ACC schools were selected to host a regional with North Carolina, Virginia, NC State, Florida State joining Miami.

The 16 regional sites, with host institutions and records are as follows: LSU (43-26), Baton Rouge, La.; North Carolina (44-14), Chapel Hill, N.C.; Virginia (38-17), Charlottesville, Va.; Texas A&M (42-16), College Station, Texas; South Carolina (40-17), Columbia, S.C.; Miami (36-21), Coral Gables, Fla.; Oregon (42-16), Eugene, Ore.; Florida (42-18), Gainesville, Fla.; Purdue (44-12), Gary, Ind.; Rice (40-17), Houston, Texas; UCLA (41-14), Los Angeles, Calif.; Stanford (37-16), Palo Alto, Calif.; NC State (39-17), Raleigh, N.C.; Florida State (43-15), Tallahassee, Fla.; Arizona (37-17), Tucson, Ariz.; Baylor (44-14), Waco, Texas.

The last season Miami hosted a regional was 2010, when the Hurricanes went on to win the Coral Gables Regional with wins over Texas A&M and Dartmouth.

The Coral Gables Regional field will be announced Monday at 12 p.m. on ESPNU.


TICKET INFORMATION
:

  • Season ticket holders who sit in field box or chairback seats have until Tuesday at 5:00 p.m. to purchase “All-Regional” tickets in their same seating location – click HERE for more.
  • “All-Regional” ticket passes are $90 for field box, $60 for chairback, and $45 for adult general admission. 
  • “All-Regional” general admission tickets are available now, and can be purchased online by clicking HERE; field box and chairback “All-Regional” tickets will go on sale to the general public at 8:30 a.m. Wednesday morning. 
  • Individual session tickets will go on-sale Thursday at 8:30 a.m. online at HurricaneSports.com, in-person at the Hurricane Ticket Office, and over the phone at (305) 284-8153. 
  • Anyone that purchases an “All-Regional” package will receive the fourth session for free, if the game is necessary. 

All-Regional Prices:

  • Field Box: $90/all sessions
  • Chairback: $60/all sessions
  • General Admission: $45/all sessions

Individual Sessions:
