560 WQAM Announces Baseball Broadcast Schedule

CORAL GABLES, Fla. – The University of Miami baseball team will have a total of 18 regular season games broadcast on 560 WQAM, the flagship station for the Miami Hurricanes, as announced by the university on Friday. WQAM will be at Mark Light Field at Alex Rodriguez Park for the Hurricanes’ first series of the season against Rutgers, with scheduled broadcasts for the Saturday (Feb. 18) and Sunday (Feb. 19) tilts of the three-game set. The station will be broadcasting contests from February through May, including games during a home series with in-state rival Florida and a road series against reigning conference champions Florida State. The Hurricanes were ranked No. 14 in the Collegiate Baseball Newspaper’s pre-season poll released on Dec. 19. The team will kick off its season with an Alumni Game exhibition scheduled for a 6 p.m. first pitch on Feb. 11.
