Jim Morris Baseball Camp Begins Monday

Coral Gables, Fla. – The Jim Morris Baseball Camp [Day Camp] begins Monday, July 4, at Alex Rodriguez Park on the campus of the University of Miami. The camp will run through Friday, July 8. It will be held for ages 7-13, and the price is $235 for the week.

Under the guidance of veteran UMiami baseball head coach Jim Morris – recently completing his 18th year at the helm of the Canes program, the first of three special day camps will be divided by age and ability.

The camp is designed to work on the fundamentals of hitting, pitching, defense, base running and throwing. It will focus on proper swing, throwing, fielding mechanics, hitting drills, fielding drills and agility drills for footwork. Games will be played every day as well.

The other sessions for the day camp will be July 11-15 and July 18-22.
