Baseball Gameday Central: Miami vs. Jacksonville

Gainesville, Fla. – The No. 2 seed University of Miami meets No. 3 seed Jacksonville University in an elimination game at the Gainesville [Fla.] Regional inside McKethan Stadium on Sunday, June 5, at Noon. The game is being televised live on ESPNU with Clay Matvick and Kyle Peterson providing commentary.

Miami (37-22) fell to the No. 1 seed Florida Gators on Saturday, 5-4, with a one-out walk-off single in the bottom of the ninth. The Dolphins fell to Miami on Friday, before bouncing back to eliminate the Manhattan Jaspers in the regional’s first elimination game yesterday at Noon.

The Hurricanes will throw freshman left-hander Bryan Radziewski (9-2, 3.30 ERA) on the mound against the Dolphins, while JU counters with freshman left-handed pitcher Tony Mollica. The winner advances to Sunday’s nightcap against the homestanding Gators at 4 p.m.

The game will be televised nationally on ESPNU and ESPN3 (http://espn.go.com/espn3/index?id=189943), with radio coverage provided by WVUM 90.5 FM.
