The No. 15 University of Miami baseball team hosts the Duke University Blue Devils in the rubber match of the regular season series finale inside Alex Rodriguez Park at 1 p.m. The Canes took the opener, 4-1, while the Blue Devils took Friday’s contest, 2-0.
Miami (33-20, 18-10 Atlantic Coast Conference) is going for its sixth home series victory of the year on Saturday, using sophomore right-hander E.J. Encinosa (4-5, 3.16 ERA) on the mound. Encinosa looks to snap a two-game losing streak against the Blue Devils, as Duke counters with freshman right-handed pitcher Drew Van Orden (3-5, 7.02 ERA).
Saturday afternoon’s contest features live audio provided by the nationally acclaimed WVUM sports staff, the student voice of the Miami Hurricanes, located at 90.5 FM on your radio dial.
