Charlottesville, Va. – The No. 16 Miami Hurricanes and No. 1 Virginia Cavaliers wrap-up a three-game Atlantic Coast Conference baseball series on Sunday, May 15, at Davenport Field beginning at 11 a.m. The game was moved up from an original Noon start due to impending weather expected to enter the Charlottesville area later in the afternoon.

Miami (32-17, 17-8 ACC) took the opening game Friday night, 6-2, behind a strong pitching performance from Bryan Radziewski, as well as timely hitting from a number of Canes in the first inning – as UMiami tacked on five runs to start the game. Virginia (44-6, 21-5 ACC) bounced back Saturday with a great pitching performance from Tyler Wilson to hold off a late surge by Canes, limiting them to just two hits in a 3-2 Cavaliers victory.

Sunday’s rubber match will feature Miami sophomore right-hander E.J. Encinosa (4-4, 2.84 ERA) against Virginia right-hander Will Roberts (9-0, 1.43 ERA). Audio for the game will be provided by WVUM 90.5 FM in the Miami-Dade area. You can also listen to the broadcast anywhere in the world via the internet at WVUM.org. Ernesto Suarez and Eric Hahn will have the call.
