Miami-San Francisco Game To Be Aired On Three Radio Stations

June 1, 2006

LINCOLN, Neb. (www.hurricanesports.com) – Miami’s 2006 NCAA Lincoln Regional game on Friday night against San Francisco will not be televised, it was announced by the University of Nebraska Sports Information Office. However, it does not mean the Hurricanes can not be seen on television this weekend.

NET and www.huskers.com will provide live television and video coverage across the state and on the Internet of all of Nebraska’s games in the regional. Live coverage of all of Nebraska’s NCAA Regional games will be provided on NET1 and in high-definition on NET-HD as part of NET Sports, Nebraska’s Home for Sports. Thus, if the Hurricanes and Huskers meet in the regional, fans can go to www.huskers.com to watch the action on the Internet.

While television coverage of the Hurricanes in Lincoln is not 100 percent certain, three Miami radio stations will be calling all the play-by-play. Doug Kroll will call all the action for the Student Voice of UM, WVUM 90.5 FM. WQAM 560 AM’s Joe Zagacki and Brian London will call Miami’s game against San Francisco WQAM’s sister station, WKAT 1360 AM. The game can also be heard in Spanish on 1550 WHRC AM.

Saturday’s game times will determine what stations will carry that day’s games.
