JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – Miami recorded its first-ever Atlantic Coast Conference victory against North Carolina State on March 4. Thirty ACC games later, the Hurricanes will look for their first-ever ACC Tournament win against the Wolfpack when they meet for the fourth time this season at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, May 25 at the Baseball Grounds of Jacksonville.
The Hurricanes (38-15-1 overall, 19-10-1 ACC) earned the conference’s third seed despite losing its last four ACC games to Virginia and Clemson. Sixth-seeded N.C. State (39-15, 17-13 ACC) finished its regular season with a pair of victories against a red-hot Florida State team on May 21.
Miami took two-of-three games against N.C. State in Coral Gables earlier this season. The Hurricanes recorded their first ACC victory against the Wolfpack on March 4, in the program’s first-ever ACC game.
