Hurricanes Add St. Peter's College to the 2003 Schedule

CORAL GABLES, Fla. – The University of Miami’s 13th-ranked baseball team announced Friday that it had added a game with St. Peter’s College on Tuesday, March 18, at Mark Light Field at 7 p.m.

The game will replace the third game of the Florida series on Sunday, Feb. 16 that was cancelled due to rain in Gainesville, Fla. It will be the first meeting on the baseball diamond between UM and St. Peter’s College.

The Hurricanes are 15-3 on the season after dispatching Rutgers, 15-5, Friday night with an eight-run fifth inning. Miami and Rutgers will return to the diamond tonight with a 7 p.m. contest. The two teams will wrap up the series on Sunday with a 1 p.m. contest at ‘The Light’
