Miami's Sunday Baseball Game with Florida Cancelled

GAINESVILLE, Fla. – The University of Miami baseball game with Florida at McKethan Stadium Sunday, Feb. 16, was cancelled due to rain.

The two teams split the first two games of the series with Miami winning game one, 9-2, behind a five-run outburst in the eighth inning. Florida won Saturday’s game, 5-3.

The Hurricanes will return to action Friday, Feb. 21, at 7 p.m. with Tony Gwynn’s San Diego State Aztecs coming to Mark Light Field for a three game series. The second game of the series is scheduled for a 7 p.m. first pitch on Saturday, Feb. 22, while the series finale will begin at noon on Sunday, Feb. 23. All three games of the series will be carried by Fox Sports Net Florida.
