New Promotions Announced For The 2003 Season

On Tuesday, the Hurricanes announced that during Friday and Saturdaybaseball games this season, Hurricanes fans will have the chance to win$10,000.
On Friday nights, the Hurricanes will debut the Pollo Tropical $10,000 Dicefor Dollars promotion. If the lucky participant spells C-A-N-E-S on theirdice roll, he or she will win $10,000.
On Saturday nights, the Hurricanes and OleoMed are proud to present theOleoMed $10,000 Super Saturdays promotion. A specific on-field event willbe predetermined for the 1st, 3rd, 5th, 7th and 9th innings. If any one ofthose events occurs during their respective inning, then one lucky fan willbe $10,000 richer.
Other promotions and giveaways announced will be the University of MiamiTrading Cards sponsored by McArthur Dairy, the Ron Fraser Hurricanes Legendbobblehead sponsored by OleoMed, the Hurricanes Not so Newlywed Game andmore.
University of Miami and Milam’s Markets Host Youth Team Ticket Promotion
The University of Miami and Milam’s Market, a longtime sponsor of the University of Miami baseball team, is conducting a promotional program that will allow you to bring your entire youth league baseball team out to Mark Light Field for a Hurricanes’ weekend home game. All youth entering the promotion must be under the age of 12.
To register to win in the contest, stop by one of four Milam’s locations in the Miami area and fill out an entry blank at the Customer Service counter. Milam’s will select one winner each week during the Canes season and each winner will receive 25 tickets to take the youth team to selected games.
Milam’s will select winners for the following series of games remaining on the Canes schedule:
- March 14-16 vs. Rutgers
- March 21-23 vs. Boston College
- March 28-30 vs. Georgia Tech
- April 4-6 vs. Oral Roberts
- May 17-18 vs. Savannah State
Hurricanes Announce Papa John’s Family Pack
The University of Miami Hurricanes has announced the availability of the 4 for $30 Papa John’s Family Pack for the remainder of the 2003 baseball season.
Available for all Saturday night Hurricanes home contests, fans will be able to receive 4 tickets, a large pizza and 2 liter bottle of soda for just $30.
The Papa John’s Family pack can be purchased by calling 1-800-GO-CANES or by visiting both the University of Miami and Mark Light Field box offices.
