Full-time undergraduate students who are enrolled for the current semester are eligible to receive one student ticket for each Men’s Home Basketball Game. Part-time undergraduate students, graduate, law, and medical students who are enrolled for the current semester and have opted to pay the Student Athletic Fee for the current semester are also eligible to receive one student ticket for each Men’s Home Basketball Game. The number of student tickets available for each Men’s Home Basketball Game is capped at 950 tickets and will be available on a first, come first serve basis through a ticket reservation system utilizing the EASY system. The EASY system will verify current enrollment and option of payment of the Student Athletic Fee. All student tickets are free and will be general admission tickets valid for Sections 117, 118, or 106 in the Convocation Center. A valid student Cane Card is required to pick-up a student ticket made via the EASY system ticket reservations process at the Convocation Center Box Office and also required for entry into the Convocation Center with a student ticket on game day. Students who reserve a ticket through the EASY reservation system will have two business days to pick-up their ticket at the Convocation Center Box Office between 10:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m. Student tickets reserved through the EASY system reservations process and not picked-up by the designated deadline or any student tickets available due to ticket reservations through EASY not reaching the 950 capacity will be made available to students on a first come, first serve basis on the business day following the deadline for ticket pick-up reservations made on EASY. These tickets will be available for one day only between 10:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m. at the Convocation Center Box Office. There will be no student guest passes available for any Men’s Home Basketball Game.

Men’s Basketball Student Tickets Transferable
If you obtain a student ticket to a Men’s Home Basketball Game and later determine that you are unable to attend the game, please give your ticket to another currently enrolled University of Miami student who would like to attend the game. A printed ticket and a student Cane Card are required for admission to any Men’s Home Basketball Game held at the Convocation Center. All Students with tickets should plan to be seated in the Convocation Center at least 10 minutes prior to tip-off!!!!

Policy Change – Student Tickets For Men’s Home Basketball Games
Student tickets for a Men’s Home Basketball Games reserved through the EASY system reservations process and not picked-up by the designated deadline or any student tickets available due to ticket reservations through EASY not reaching the 950 capacity will be made available to students on a first come, first serve basis beginning on the business day following the deadline for ticket pick-up for reservations made on EASY. These tickets will be made available to students until the day of the game or until all 950 student tickets are distributed, whichever comes first. These tickets will be available at the Convocation Center Box office between 10:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m., Monday-Friday.

Stand-By Ticket Policy Created For Men’s Home Basketball Games
On game day, if all of the student tickets have not been distributed then students will be allowed to pick-up a ticket at the Convocation Center Box Office Student Window. If all 950 student tickets have been distributed and the game is not sold out then students who did not receive a ticket and would like to attend the game can line-up in the “STAND-BY LINE” at the Convocation Center Student Entrance not more than 1˝ hours prior to game time to have a chance of being admitted to the game. Ten (10) minutes prior to tip-off any unsold tickets will be made available for students at no charge. Seats for “STAND-BY” tickets will not be for the student sections.

UM vs. Villanova – Saturday, February 8, 2003 7:30 p.m.

Student tickets for the Miami vs. Villanova men’s basketball game will go on the EASY system beginning Thursday, January 30, 2003 at 9:30pm. Tickets will be available on the EASY system until Friday, January 31, 2003 at 8:00am.

Villanova tickets will be available for pick up at the Convocation Center Box Office beginning 10:00am on Friday, January 31 and Monday, February 3 at 10:00am.

Student tickets are limited and available on a first come, first serve basis via the EASY system reservations process!!!!!

To reserve a ticket to a Men’s Home Basketball Game:

  1. 1. Point your web browser to

http://easy.miami.edu
2. Sign on using your UM ID Number and PIN. (If you have never used EASY before, follow the “First Time Using EASY?” link and follow the instructions.)
3. Once you have signed on, click the “My Student Menu” tab at the top of the screen.
4. Now scroll down to the “Student Life” box and click “Basketball Ticket Reservations.”
5. At this point you will see the schedule of games to be played at the Convocation Center, as well as the date and time reservations begin and end on EASY. When reservations open for a game, it will be highlighted and a basketball-shaped icon that says, “Click to Reserve” will appear next to it. Simply click on the basketball-shaped icon and as long as there are tickets left, you’ll be able to reserve one! You’ll also be able to review the University’s official policy regarding basketball ticket distribution, just in case you have any questions about the procedure.
