CORAL GABLES, Fla. (www.hurricanesports.com) – – The University of Miami baseball team defeated Florida International University 9-1 in the NCAA Regionals after a substantial rain delay that stopped the game for a few hours.
The third-seeded University of Miami Hurricanes (31-26) will advance to play the winner of the Bethune-Cookman vs. Florida game at this weekend’s NCAA Gainesville Regional at Alfred A. McKethen Stadium on the University of Florida campus.
