***Junior Javy Rodriguez stole his nation-leading 58th base in the second inning. He is four steals shy of the UM single season record of 62 set by Orlando Gonzalez in 1974.
***Miami hit for the cycle in the second inning as senior Charlton Jimerson homered, junior Mike Rodriguez tripled, Javy Rodriguez doubled and sophomore Kevin Howard singled.
***The Hurricanes improve to 43-0 this season when leading after eight innings.

Bucknell University
***The six runs are the most in regional history for Bucknell.
***Senior Ian Joseph recorded his 27 steal of the season in the fourth inning tying his own single-season record.
***Bucknell is 0-3 in regional play with all three losses coming against teams from the state of Florida. Bucknell lost 7-0 to Florida and 13-1 to UCF in 1996.
