UM Holds Annual Postseason Men's Basketball Banquet

CORAL GABLES, Fla. –
The <?xml:namespace prefix=”st1″ ns=”urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:smarttags”?>University of Miami men’s basketball program, in conjunction with the Hurricane Club and Above the Rim Club, held it’s annual post-season banquet Monday evening at the BankUnitedCenter.<?xml:namespace prefix=”o” ns=”urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office”?>
Emceed by Joe Zagacki, who serves as the official radio play-by-play announcer for UM broadcasts on WQAM, the evening featured a dinner while honoring the players, coaching and support staff and fans from the past season.
Several individual awards were presented throughout the evening including the Most Valuable Player award given to sophomore Jack McClinton, the Ultimate Teammate Award given to senior Anthony King and the Outstanding Student Athlete Award given to junior Jonathan Stratton.
