NCAA "Take a Kid to the Game" Program on Oct. 6

CORAL GABLES, FLA. (www.hurricanesports.com) — Local youth will have an opportunity to experience NCAA Football and the college game-day atmosphere when Miami hosts NCAA Football’s annual “Take a Kid to the Game” (TAKG) program, October 6th. With the purchase of an adult full priced ticket, two kids, ages 12 and younger, will receive a free ticket, to watch the Hurricanes take on Troy State at the Orange Bowl.

TAKG is entering its seventh year in the promotion of NCAA Athletics and fourth for NCAA Football. The Take a Kid to the Game program saw a record number of schools (181) participate last year in this campaign, which is focused on attracting more of the nation’s youth to college games.

“The Take a Kid to the Game program is a wonderful opportunity to introduce the youth of our community to NCAA Football,” said Paul Dee, athletic director at Miami. “This is also a great chance for our school to gain some new fans.”

The Take a Kid to the Game Program is a national promotion of NCAA Football, the marketing are of college football.
