CAREER: Tall and athletic reserve defensive back who has proven to be a superior special teams player…Can also return punts…Will compete for more playing time as a junior in 2006…Has seen action in 12 games over two seasons…Has proven to be a big-play contributor on special teams, with two recoveries on blocked punts (one for a touchdown)…Has the size to be a fine cornerback, along with good hands and speed…Liberal arts major.

2005 (SOPHOMORE): Special teams player who saw limited reserve duty on defense…Also returned two punts…Played in eight games, making one tackle on defense and returning two punts for minus-two yards…Did not play in the first four games, then saw action in all of the final eight games, mostly on special teams…Played defensive back in four games (Duke, Temple, North Carolina, Wake Forest)…Returned one punt for 11 yards vs. Duke and then lost 13 yards on a punt return at Wake Forest.

2004 (FRESHMAN): Was expected to redshirt until he was needed on special teams for the final four games of the regular season…Tallied one tackle in four games, playing on the kickoff and punt coverage units…Scored a touchdown against Wake Forest, recovering Sinorice Moss’ blocked punt in the end zone…Against Virginia Tech, recovered an Anthony Reddick blocked punt that led to a touchdown…Did not play in the Peach Bowl.
