CAREER: Versatile athlete who switched from defensive back to wide receiver in summer 2006…A non-scholarship athlete who played his way onto the depth chart at strong safety in 2004…One of the fastest players on the team…Has shown excellent work ethic in the weight room and practice field…Graduated in May 2007 with a degree in liberal arts and is pursuing a second major in criminology.

2006 (JUNIOR): Switched to wide receiver before the start of training camp but did not see any action…Practiced as a member of the scout team all season.

2005 (SOPHOMORE): Did not see any game action but practiced as a member of the scout team.

2004 (FRESHMAN): Did not see any action after injuring his left shoulder in a September practice and undergoing surgery…Spent the remainder of the fall rehabbing his injury.

2003 (REDSHIRT): A member of the Hurricanes’ scout team during his redshirt season.

HIGH SCHOOL: Played both free safety and cornerback…As a senior in 2002, earned first-team All-Broward County defensive honors by the South Florida Sun-Sentinel and Miami Herald…Recorded 62 total tackles and 34 unassisted tackles, with two interceptions…As a junior, intercepted four passes…Lettered three years in football and track at Dr. Krop…Coached by Mike Searcy.
