Football Remains at No. 10 in CFP Rankings
CORAL GABLES, Fla. — The Miami Hurricanes football team checked in at No. 10 in the newest College Football Playoff rankings released Tuesday night.
Miami’s appearance marks the program’s eighth all-time ranking in the top 10 of the CFP rankings. The Hurricanes, who were also ranked No. 10 in last week’s CFP rankings, cracked the rankings on Nov. 24 for the first time since the final rankings of the 2017 season (Dec. 3, 2017).
With Tuesday’s announcement by the selection committee, the Hurricanes remain ranked in the top 10 of every major poll, including a No. 9 ranking in both the Amway Coaches’ Poll and the Associated Press top 25.
Miami’s highest ranking of the year in any poll was No. 7, which was attained in both the AP top 25 and coaches’ poll on Oct. 4.
The Hurricanes (7-1, 6-1 ACC) next travel to Duke (2-7, 1-7 ACC) in a matchup at Wallace Wade Stadium in Durham, N.C., on Dec. 5. Kickoff time is set for 8 p.m. on ACC Network.
