Friday Baseball Game at UVA Postponed, Doubleheader Saturday

CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. – Friday’s baseball game between the University of Miami and University of Virginia has been postponed and rescheduled as part of a doubleheader Saturday beginning at noon.
 
The second game of the doubleheader will begin approximately 40 minutes after the conclusion of game one. Both games will air live on ACC Network Extra and be broadcasted live on WVUM 90.5 FM.
 
Friday’s game, which was originally been scheduled for a 6 p.m. start, was moved up to 2:35 p.m. due to inclement weather in the forecast before ultimately being rescheduled.
 
The Hurricanes (22-12, 7-8 ACC) and Cavaliers (21-13, 8-7 ACC) are scheduled to play a three-game series at Davenport Field. Sunday’s first pitch is set for 1 p.m.
