Miami Climbs Up the Latest Top-25 Rankings

CORAL GABLES, Fla. — Following its 41-13 season-opening win over Bethune-Cookman, Miami climbed up in the latest college football polls released Tuesday.
 
The Hurricanes (1-0) moved up two spots from No. 18 to No. 16 in the Associated Press rankings and one spot from No. 18 to No. 17 in the Amway Coaches Poll.
 
Miami was also ranked No. 16 by the AP and No. 17 in the Amway Coaches Poll in the Week 7 rankings of 2016.
 
The Hurricanes entered the season ranked in both preseason polls for the first time since 2010.
