CORAL GABLES, Fla. – Marquez Williams and Adrian Colbert will represent the University of Miami football team at the 2017 NFLPA Senior Bowl. Williams and Colbert will both play on the National Team and will be coached by former NFL head coach Mike Martz. Williams and Colbert will wear numbers 36 and 23, respectively.

Williams earned a spot on this year’s NFLPA Collegiate Bowl roster after he served as the Hurricanes starting fullback this past season. The Athens, Ga., native came to Miami following his three years as a starter at Mars Hill University (N.C.). During the 2016 season, Williams appeared in all 13 games for Miami and made five starts.
Colbert earned a spot in the game after he finished the season with 22 tackles (13 solo) and 2.5 tackles for loss. The Mineral Wells, Texas, native saw action in eight games and made two starts. He posted a dominant start for Miami against Notre Dame, as he tallied 6.0 tackles and 1.0 tackle for loss. Colbert missed the final four games of the regular season because of injury, but returned in time for the Russell Athletic Bowl where he recorded 4.0 tackles (2.0 solo) and 1.0 tackle for loss in the win over West Virginia.
