Deserve Victory Tour Begins This Week

CORAL GABLES, Fla. – The 2015 Miami Hurricanes Deserve Victory Tour begins this week throughout the South Florida community. The event is free for all kids in grades kindergarden through eighth grade. 

Come join Miami Hurricanes football student-athletes and select staff members as they travel to Vincent Torres Memorial Park in Lauderdale Lakes, Loren Roberts Park in Florida City, Dade-Gibson Park in Miami and Betty T. Ferguson Recreational Complex in Miami Gardens to interact with the local youth. Each Deserve Victory Tour event begins at 5 p.m. and goes until 7 p.m.

The Deserve Victory Tour includes instruction on the basic fundamentals of football and the safety that is required to play the game. Those who attend will also be made aware of the importance of nutrition and the academic policies recently adopted by the NCAA.

Each Deserve Victory! event will run two hours with Miami players taking the participating youth through a series of football exercises from stretching and agility to position-specific drills to the basics of the game.
