Throwback Thursday: Virginia Tech 2012

The Hurricanes squared off against the Hokies on a Thursday night affair back in 2012, with Miami taking the 30-12 victory.

Duke Johnson had a 7-yard touchdown run in the fourth quarter and finished with 217 all-purpose yards in the victory.

Miami will face the Hokies at Lane Stadium tonight in a crucial ACC Coastal matchup. Kickoff is set for 8 p.m. on ESPN with Rece Davis, Jesse Palmer, David Pollack, and Samantha Ponder on the call.

The Canes return home for its Homecoming game against North Carolina on November 1. All fans are encouraged to wear green in support of Jim Kelly, who will serve as Honorary Captain as well as Grand Marshall of the Homecoming Parade.
