Archibald Signs Grant-In-Aid Agreement

CORAL GABLES, Fla. – The University of Miami football program signed rising senior tight end Bowman Archibald to a grant-in-aid agreement Friday.

Archibald, ranked among the top tight ends in the nation for the Class of 2015, played on both sides of the ball and exploded with an impressive junior campaign at Pasco High School in Dade City, Fla.

Archibald hauled in two touchdown passes as a tight end, and recorded 22 tackles, 2.5 sacks and two fumble recoveries at defensive end.

The 6-foot-6, 244-pound Archibald is rated as the fifth best tight end in the Class of 2015 by ESPN and ranked No. 189 on the ESPN 300. He is ranked as the 17th best tight end in the nation by both Rivals and 247Sports.

Archibald picked Miami over offers from Florida State, Florida, Alabama and Auburn.
