UNITE.14: April 12 at Sun Life Stadium
CORAL GABLES, Fla. – The Miami Hurricanes will host UNITE.14 Spring Game & Family Festival Presented by BankUnited on Saturday at Sun Life Stadium. The entire event is free and open to the public.
Stadium parking lots open at 2 p.m. Fans are asked to enter through Gate 7 and park in the Maroon Lot. Stadium gates will open at 3 p.m. Fans are asked to enter through Gate D. The team autograph session will begin at 4 p.m. at the Gate E entrance. The NFL Clear Bay Policy WILL BE in effect at Sun Life Stadium. Please plan accordingly.
Football student-athletes will be available to sign autographs. As part of the University of Miami’s commitment to NCAA compliance, student-athletes will only sign the official Miami Hurricanes athletics team posters that will be provided for free at the event. Please do not bring or ask student-athletes to sign other items. Your cooperation and support for the athletics department in complying with NCAA regulations is greatly appreciated.
In conjunction with UNITE.14, the Hurricane Ticket Office will be hosting the annual Select-A-Seat event.The best available season ticket seats will be on sale for the first time at 3 p.m. Saturday. The Hurricane Ticket Office will tag prime seats (100, 400 and Club levels) for fans that want to upgrade, switch sections or purchase season tickets. Canes fans are invited to arrive early at Sun Life Stadium and select available seats for the upcoming season that features home games against Florida A&M, Arkansas State, Duke, Cincinnati, North Carolina, Florida State and Pitt.
If you would like to speak with a ticket sales staff member about available ticket options before the event, call 305-284-2263 during standard business hours (8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.) this week. Tickets will be available online and by phone beginning Monday, April 14, so Select-A-Seat is the first official on-sale for 2014 season tickets.
The on-field Family Festival area, which will occupy a portion of the field facing the east end zone, will include inflatables, dunk tanks and Miami’s new football uniform display. WQAM’s Zach Krantz and Alex Donno are scheduled to make cameos in the dunk tank. DJ CX will be live on the field from 3-8 p.m. playing music throughout UNITE.14.
Miami’s new Nike uniforms will be unveiled at 5 p.m. Miami’s Spring Game, which is the culmination of the Hurricanes’ spring football practice schedule, will kick at 6 p.m. on ESPN3.
