@MiamiHurricanes Make AP Top 10 Debut

CORAL GABLES, Fla. – Following their second open date of the season, the Miami Hurricanes jumped three spots to No. 10 in the latest AP Top 25 Poll released Sunday.

Miami (5-0, 1-0) is one of three ACC teams ranked in the latest AP Top 25, joining Clemson (No. 3) and Florida (No. 5). The Hurricanes also jumped three spots to No. 11 in the latest USA TODAY Sports Top 25 Coaches Poll and debuted at No. 10 in the first Harris Interactive poll, which is part of the BCS formula.

Miami made its 292nd AP Top 10 appearance in program history and its first since the 2009 season.
