Times, TV Schedule Set for FAU, Florida Games
GREENSBORO, N.C. – The Miami Hurricanes will open the 2013 football season with back-to-back national TV games on the ESPN family of networks, announced Thursday by the ACC.
Miami’s Aug. 30 season opener at Sun Life Stadium against Florida Atlantic will kick at 8 p.m. ET on ESPNU. Eight days later, the Hurricanes will host the in-state rival Florida Gators on Sept. 7 at noon ET on ESPN.
The ACC features 11 national TV games in the first three weeks of the season, including six national TV appearances during the opening weekend. The 2013 Dr Pepper ACC Football Championship Game, which will be played for the fourth consecutive year at Charlotte’s Bank of America Stadium, is scheduled for Sat., Dec. 7, and will have a nationally televised kickoff time of either 7:45 p.m. ET (on ESPN) or 8 p.m. ET (on ABC).
