Spring Game To Be Broadcast Live on ESPN3
CORAL GABLES, Fla. – The Miami Hurricanes’ Spring Football Game, which will be held April 13 at Sun Life Stadium, will be broadcast live on ESPN3 at 3 p.m. ET. Miami is one of nine ACC schools that have their spring football games available on ESPN3.
Nine practices into their spring schedule, the Canes return to the GreenTree Practice Fields on Tue., April 2. Miami will host its second spring scrimmage Fri., April 5 in Naples at Naples High School. Admission to the Naples scrimmage and the Spring Game is free and open to the public.
ESPN3 is ESPN’s live multi-screen sports network, a destination that delivers thousands of global sports events annually and accessible online via WatchESPN.com, on smartphones and tablets via the WatchESPN app and through ESPN on Xbox LIVE to Gold members. It is currently available to more than 85 million homes at no additional cost to fans who receive their high-speed Internet connection or video subscription from an affiliated service provider. The network is also available at no cost to approximately 21 million U.S. college students and U.S.-based military personnel via computers connected to on-campus educational networks and on-base military networks.
Per NCAA rules, NCAA Division I football programs may conduct a spring practice segment in which a maximum of 15 practice sessions may occur. The segment must be conducted over a span of 34 consecutive days, excluding institutional vacation periods and exam days.
