Football Hosts Pro Timing Day Thursday

CORAL GABLES, Fla. – Twenty athletes will participate Thursday at the University of Miami’s annual Pro Day. Graduating seniors and those declaring for the NFL Draft will work out in front of NFL and CFL scouts.

Among the 20 athletes participating Thursday are 12 seniors from Miami’s 2012 team: P Dalton Botts, LB Ramon Buchanan, RB Mike James, WR Davon Johnson, OL Ben Jones, OL Jeremy Lewis, DB Brandon McGee, DL Darius Smith, DB Andrew Swasey, DB Vaughn Telemaque, WR Kendal Thompkins and K Jake Wieclaw.

Miami’s Pro Day is closed to fans and is an invitation-only event for participants, their guests and select UM staff members. Media will be allowed to watch the final portion of Pro Day immediately following Hurricanes spring practice.
