Monday ProCanes Report: Graham, Olsen Shine
The Monday ProCanes report will weed through all the NFL highlights and news to bring you the information you care about the most… what the former University of Miami Hurricanes did during the week prior. Tight ends Jimmy Graham and Greg Olsen combined for four of the Pro Canes’ six touchdowns Sunday, totaling nearly 250 combined yards on 16 catches. Strong defensive performances from Titans’ linebacker Colin McCarthy, who registered a 49-yard “pick six,” and Patriots’ nose tackle Vince Wilfork rounded out the most dominant week for Pro Canes so far this season.
Jimmy Graham (New Orleans) – seven catches, 146 yards, two touchdowns
The Saints’ Pro Bowl tight end finished with a career-best day for the Saints, who handed Atlanta its first loss of the season at the Mercedes-Benz Superdome on Sunday. Graham recorded his first 100-yard game of the season in the 31-27 win, registering a career-high 146 yards and tying a personal-best with two touchdowns. The Goldsboro, N.C. native now ranks fourth among all NFL tight ends with 533 yards, and third among all pass-catchers with seven touchdowns on the season.

Greg Olsen (Carolina Panthers) – nine catches, 102 yards, two touchdowns
No one had a better week than Panthers’ tight end Greg Olsen, whose newborn son arrived home from the hospital healthy earlier in the week after his first round of heart surgery. The Wayne, N.J. native registered season-best marks of nine catches and 102 yards in his team’s loss, recording only the fourth multi-touchdown game of his career. Despite the disappointing final score, Olsen has clearly played a key role in the emergence of Carolina quarterback Cam Newton, and is now on pace for career-highs in both catches and yards.Video Highlights: Opening Score | Quick Strike TD | 26-yard Catch
Colin McCarthy (Tennessee Titans) – three tackles, 49-yard INT return for touchdownThe Titans’ second-year linebacker, making his return to Miami for a match-up against the Dolphins at Sun Life Stadium, continued his ascent among the league’s youngest stars in Sunday’s 37-3 blowout win. The Clearwater, Fla. native returned an interception 49 yards for a touchdown, and added three tackles in the win. McCarthy’s made sure to pay his respects to his hometown crowd by throwing up “The U” after a key tacke for loss.

Vince Wilfork (New England Patriots) – four tackles, one sack, one forced fumble
The Patriots’ Pro Bowl nose tackle took little time in making his presence felt Sunday against the Bills, registering a first-quarter sack and forced fumble of Bills’ quarterback Ryan Fitzpatrick. On a difficult day for the Patriots defense, it was Wilfork who stood out with a four-tackle performance on the defensive line. The forced fumble was the third of Wilfork’s nine-year career, while the early sack was his first registered takedown of the season.
