Ed Reed Makes NFL History in Ravens Win
BALTIMORE – With his58th career interception in Baltimore’s 44-13 win over Cincinnati onMonday Night Football, Ed Reed climbedhis way one step higher in the National Football League’s all-time recordbooks.
Just one day before his 34th birthday, Reed showedno signs of slowing down with his seventh career “pick-six.” The 11th-yearveteran, who intercepted Andy Dalton’s errant pass and made his way 34 yardsuntouched for the score, passed Rod Woodson for the most interception yardagein NFL history on the play (1,497).
“It’s been a blessing of a career,” EdReed said after the game. “God has given me this gift, this platform tocontinue to do my job, to do this awesome work. It was just a blessing.
