CORAL GABLES, Fla. – The University of Miami men’s crew travel toClemson, SC this weekend for the Clemson Sprints held on Lake Hartwell,Saturday, March 27.

Heats begin at 8 a.m., followed by the finals at 12:30 p.m. Finalswill continue through 2:50 p.m., and will be followed by an awardsceremony at 3:20 p.m.

The Clemson Sprints will feature over 20 teams, includingNortheastern, Georgia Tech, Miami (OH), West Virginia, Furman, Collegeof Charleston, The Citadel, Alabama and Auburn along with the Hurricanesand host school Clemson.

The UM men began the spring sprint season in strong fashion as theHurricanes defeated Jacksonville and Central Florida in three of fourraces last weekend, March 20 at Indian Creek on Miami Beach. UM defeatedJU and UCF in the Varsity Eight, Novice Four and Novice Eight, while placingsecond behind the Dolphins in the Varsity Four.
