Tommy Streeter Drafted by Baltimore in the Sixth Round

CORAL GABLES, Fla.—Tommy Streeter has been drafted to the Baltimore Ravens, the tenth Cane to go to the Ravens in school history and the 36th wide receiver drafted in UM history. Streeter is the fifth Cane off the board as the 28th pick of the sixth round and 198th overall. Streeter joins fellow wide receiver Travis Benjamin (Cleveland), Brandon Washington (Philadelphia), Olivier Vernon (Miami), Sean Spence (Pittsburgh) and Lamar Miller (Miami) taken through six rounds of the 2012 NFL Draft.
The Miami native ended his career with a team-high eight touchdown receptions, leading the team and finishing fifth in the ACC with an average of 67.6 receiving yards per game. Streeter won the 2011 Nick Chickillo Most Improved Player of the Year Award.
