Travis Benjamin Drafted by Cleveland in the Fourth Round

CORAL GABLES, Fla.–Travis Benjamin has been drafted to the Cleveland Browns, the 12th Cane to go to the Browns in school history and the 35th wide receiver drafted in UM history.
Benjamin is the fourth Cane off the board as the fifth pick of the fourth round and 100th overall. Benjamin joins Olivier Vernon (Miami), Sean Spence (Pittsburgh) and Lamar Miller (Miami) taken through four rounds of the 2012 NFL Draft.
The Belle Glade, Fla. native ended his career as one of only six players in program history with more than 2,000 receiving yards, capping his career with 2,146. Benjamin hauled in 131 passes, scoring 13 touchdowns and averaging 43.8 yards per game.
