Saturday: Miami vs. Hofstra Baseball Gameday Central

With a 16-4 victory over Hofstra University on Friday, the 14th-ranked University of Miami baseball team looks to capture the series against the Pride on Saturday inside Alex Rodriguez Park, beginning at 7 p.m.

Miami (30-15) will send sophomore right-hander Eric Whaley to the mound on Saturday, while Hofstra (11-28) counters with right-hander David D’Errico. The Hurricanes were led offensively on Friday by Stephen Perez with a 4-for-5 performance at the plate, adding five RBI and two runs scored. Rony Rodriguez and Chantz Mack each lifted off for home runs in the contest.

Saturday’s contest features live audio provided by the nationally acclaimed WVUM sports staff, the student voice of the Miami Hurricanes, located at 90.5 FM on your radio dial.
