Book Hired as Assistant A.D. for Ticket Operations

Coral Gables, Fla. – The University of Miami athletic department has hired Erik Book as its Assistant Athletic Director for Ticket Operations. He will begin his duties at UM on Monday, January 5.

In his position, Book will supervise all ticket office personnel and have oversight of all day-to-day ticket operations.

Book comes to UM after having served in a similar capacity for the past two years at the University of South Florida. He joined the Bulls staff in 2006 as the Director of Ticket Operations and was promoted the following year to an Assistant Athletic Director. From 2003-2006 Book was the Director of Ticket Operations and Group Sales at Texas State University.

“Erik has a great background is ticket operations,” said Dawn Reynolds, UM’s Associate Athletic Director for Business Operations. “He is very familiar with all aspects of the running of a collegiate ticket office and I am confident he will be an excellent addition.”
