UM Football Holds Annual Media Day

CORAL GABLES, Fla. – The University of Miami football team held its annual Media Day Friday afternoon inside of the Knight Sports Complex on UM’s campus. Head coach Randy Shannon, along with players, addressed members of the media about the upcoming season and the start of fall practice on Saturday, Aug. 2.
The Hurricanes will begin their preparation for the 2008 season Saturday morning at the BankUnited Season Ticket Holder Canesfest. The exclusive event, centered around UM’s first fall practice, is open only to 2008 UM football season ticket holders and will be held UM’s Cobb Stadium.
Canesfest will give 2008 season ticket holders the opportunity to watch the first practice of the fall, in addition to having the opportunity to purchase or renew their season tickets, purchase apparel and merchandise or join the Hurricane Club.
Following the practice, those in attendance will be able to interact with the team in a meet and greet session.
