Women Helping Women Football 101: Moving into the ACC set for Monday, Oct. 4

Coral Gables, Fla.(www.hurricanesports.com) — Learn all the X’s and O’s of college football as well as who our new opponents will be in the ACC from Dianna Coker on Monday, Oct. 4, 2004 at “Football 101: Moving Into the ACC” presented by Pharmed. The event will be held in the Knight Sports Complex beginning at 11:00 am.

In addition, there will be a live auction including:
– NC State away game trip: 2 tickets on the University of Miami team plane, 2 tickets to the NC State game, and hotel stay.
– an autographed team football
– the right to throw out a 1st pitch at an ACC Baseball game
– and a Football package that includes: 2 tickets to the University of Miami v. Louisville home game, 2 ACC Commemorative Coins, a Run through the Smoke @ the Louisville game, an Uncut Limited Edition Autographed Jonathan Vilma/DJ Williams poster, and a UM golf shirt, and hat.
In addition to some great items that will be up for bid, the committee has also secured special guest 2004 Track and Field Olympic Silver-medallist Lauryn Williams.
The cost is $100 per person or $500 for a table of six. All proceeds go to benefit women’s athletics. Parking is free and guaranteed.
