Calais Campbell Signs With University of Miami Football

CORAL GABLES, Fla. (www.hurricanesports.com) – The University of Miamiprogram has completed its 2004 recruiting class with this morning’s signingto a national letter of intent by Calais Campbell of Denver (Colo.) SouthHigh School. With Campbell’s signing, the Hurricanes’ 2004 list of signeesnow stands at 28 student-athletes who have signed letters of intent to playfootball for the Hurricanes.
With the approval of Campbell’s paperwork this morning, the Hurricanes hadsigned 13 players from the state of Florida and maintained its status as anational recruiter as the class was geographically diverse with signees from10 different states and Canada. Four players from Texas, three players fromPennsylvania, and one player each from Colorado, Georgia, Louisiana, NewJersey, Ohio, Tennessee and Wisconsin have signed on to the Hurricanesfootball squad.
