Single-Game Football Tickets On Sale Now

CORAL GABLES, Fla. (www.hurricanesports.com) – Single-game football tickets for all 2002 University of Miami home football games – except for the October 12 clash with Florida State and the December 7 showdown with Virginia Tech – are now on sale to the general public, the Hurricane Ticket Office announced.

Single-game tickets to the FSU and Virginia Tech games will be sold as part of special ticket packages. FSU tickets can be purchased in conjunction with tickets to the Florida A&M game for $70 for reserved seats in the “Tallahassee Two Pack”. Tickets to the Virginia Tech game can be obtained as part of a package with the Connecticut game for $50 in the “Full Conn-Tech Pack”.

Both tickets packages go on sale to the general public via telephone on Monday, August 5, but can be purchased in person at the Broward County CanesFest on Saturday, Aug. 3, and the Palm Beach County Canes Fest on Sunday, Aug. 4.

The Broward CanesFest will be held from 3-7 p.m., Aug. 3, at the Broward County Convention Center. The Palm Beach CanesFest will be held from 1-5 p.m., Aug. 4, at the South Florida Fairgrounds.

Miami kicks off the 2002 season on August 31 at 7 p.m. against Florida A&M at the Orange Bowl.
